This page explains what Healthalitics does with the small amount of information our website collects. The full app — when it launches — will have a separate, more detailed policy covering health data.
Who we are
Healthalitics — an early-stage product, not yet a registered company. Contact: info@healthalitics.com. This page applies to healthalitics.com.
What we collect, and why
When you join the waitlist
- Email address — so we can email you when early access opens.
- Optional answer to "What brings you here?" — to understand who's interested.
- UTM parameters / referrer / first page visited — to know which channels drive interest. Captured silently from your URL when you arrive.
Legal basis: your consent (you provide these by submitting the form).
When you visit the site
- Google Analytics 4 — only if you accept cookies via the banner. Captures: a pseudonymous identifier, page views, device/browser, country, anonymised IP, and referrer.
- Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise — runs in the background to confirm form submissions come from real visitors, not bots. Loads on every page so the protection is in place when you submit. Sets a cookie (
_GRECAPTCHA) and shares limited browser/device signals with Google. Google's privacy policy applies.
Legal basis for analytics: your consent — change your mind any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Legal basis for reCAPTCHA: legitimate interest in stopping bot abuse of our waitlist form (a security measure considered "strictly necessary" for the service, and exempt from the consent banner under ePrivacy / UK PECR).
Where it's stored
- Waitlist emails: Google Cloud Firestore. We aim to keep this in EU regions.
- Analytics data: Google LLC servers. Google operates under standard contractual clauses for EU/UK transfers.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist emails: until product launch + 6 months. If you don't sign up after that, we delete.
- Analytics: 14 months (Google's default).
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we have on you (access)
- Correct or delete it (rectification / erasure)
- Send it to you in a portable format (portability)
- Stop using it (object / withdraw consent)
Email info@healthalitics.com. We'll respond within 30 days.
You can also complain to a supervisory authority. UK residents: the ICO. EU residents: your local data protection authority.
Cookies
We use one type of cookie: Google Analytics. It's only set if you accept via the banner. We don't use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or third-party trackers beyond GA4.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes will be flagged on the homepage.
